STRANGE CREATURES

Young people aged 11–15 are invited to spend five days building a strange new world from scratch — making puppets, animation, sound design, characters and scenes inspired by the spirit worlds and living landscapes of Studio Ghibli.
Led by UNDERARTS in collaboration with Golden Scissor Puppets, Small Gods, Strange Creatures culminates in a one-off public performance devised entirely by the teen ensemble.
Expect handmade creatures, unexpected stories, original soundscapes and a glimpse into the rich imaginative worlds young people can create when they have the space, materials and artistic support to fully realise their ideas on stage.
